Who we are
We behind Estity are Jan Neidebro, a civil engineer in computer science, and Jens Johansson, an economist and entrepreneur. Two brothers from the North of Sweden with a long history of owning properties in Spain. Our shared vision is a digital platform that provides property owners with greater understanding and control, making ownership simpler and more profitable. A system that handles the complicated parts and maximizes the investment, giving us—and others like us—more time to simply enjoy life in the sun.

Estity consists of two companies: Estity AB, a Swedish development company responsible for the platform, and Estity Innovation SL, a Spanish company with the agreements required for collaboration with the tax authority, GIPE, or other relevant parties, and thus can offer property-related services in Spain.
Collaborator with the Spanish tax authority
- We are authorized collaborator with Agencia Tributaria and are authorized to declare your tax.
Verification of the entries
- Information is checked to be correct and complete in accordance with the valid format.

Having home insurance in Spain is not a legal requirement, but it is highly recommended – especially if you do not live in the property permanently.
There are two main types of insurance:
Home Insurance (seguro de hogar):
Coverage for damage to the building (structure) and/or contents (furniture, electronics, etc.). Common protections include fire, water leaks, burglary, liability for damage to neighbors' property, and more.
Liability Insurance (responsabilidad civil):
Provides protection if you cause damage to someone else's person or property – e.g., a water leak to the neighbor.
Important considerations:
- Check that the insurance covers renting if you rent out your property.
- Some communities (communidades) already have insurance for the exterior parts of the building – you then only need to insure the interior.
- For mortgaged properties (with a Spanish bank loan), insurance is often a requirement.
- Make sure you understand the terms – especially what requires proof, documentation, or a police report in case of damage.

It has several options:
- Pay via Estity - the easiest is for you to pay directly to us in connection with the declaration. We then ensure that the tax is paid correctly and on time to the Spanish tax authorities.
- Pay yourself via your Spanish bank – you can take the generated PDF form with you and pay manually at the bank.
- Autogiro (direct debit) – set up an automatic payment from your Spanish account but for this to work the account must be registered to the owners' NIF/NIE
- SEPA payment - for those who have a euro account within the EU, it is possible to make the payment via SEPA.
